BOOKS, BOOKS,
BOOKS..... I've been an avid reader since my earliest days, and so it is hardly surprising that I've become a celebrated author over the years. The books I write are mainly for children, but I do like to add a little humour to keep adults amused as they read to - or along with - their little cubs. My first book, as the title suggests, is set in Vienna, and tells how I became involved in helping out some bears who are threatened with homelessness. The "Disappearing Bun" is not really about magic - it's about me and my television, and my slobbish side as a couch potato. The third book featured here is about the way I was able to thwart a potential invasion from Mars. Superhero Hector! And lo and behold, fresh out today is the latest mockbuster - Me, at the Royal Albert Hall. A tale of music, sheep, elephants, spaniels and great success. My friend Algernon needed some help, so I was pleased to be of assistance. Not for the faint-hearted, this one! The trouble with being a prolific writer is that as soon as you say "my latest work", you're having to say it again. And so it is that I have pleasure in announcing my latest book which is an altogether gentler story about treasure-hunting escapades, prompted by my Uncle Rumbletum. (You may recall the embarrassment he caused at my debut in the Royal Albert Hall.) There will of course be many more to follow. It's just a question of getting the time to commit my ideas to paper.
